Isabel Alcántara is a versatile professional that leverages relationships and taps into the strengths that those relationships create, with the intent to benefit all stakeholders. She is an attorney and bilingual in both Spanish and English. Isabel brings a wealth of expertise and a global perspective to her work. Her educational background includes a BA in Liberal Arts (with a focus on Psychology, Biology, and Spanish, from Roberts Wesleyan College, an MA in Literary and Cultural Studies of Spain and Latin America from NYU Madrid, and an MA in Bilingual and Multicultural Education from Universidad de Alcalá de Henares. She has a Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University, School of Law and she is currently advancing her knowledge as an LLM candidate in Banking and Financial Regulation, with a concentration in securities law at Boston University.
In addition to her role at Severin, Isabel is the founder and principal at Alcantara Law, LLC, a law firm dedicated to serving federally covered investment advisers and foreign investors. Her legal expertise is complemented by her work as a licensed residential real estate adviser. She also facilitates connections between foreign investors and commercial real estate specialists.
